Before she was even hatched, Armaros was stolen by a band of Harpies as an egg.  She was then carried to the Harpy settlement, where she was thrown into a cage containing two, small hatchlings who would be raised as slaves for the Beastclan group.  The Harpies, however, abandoned their camp in search of more ferile hunting grounds, leaving the egg and the two hatchlings behind.

Clan Amaranth, after having suffered the destruction of their territory at the hands of the Shade, were moving deep into the forested outskirts of the Hwen City.  On the way, Telesphorus, one of the clan’s leaders, heard the shreiks of terrified hatchlings.  He found the two hatchling and the damaged egg, and carried them back to his clan.  He and his mate decided to raise the hatchlings as their own, and tended to the damaged egg with extreme care to make sure it would hatch properly.

Within a few days, Armaros hatched from her egg, and her new parents and siblings were delighted.  Although her parents and the clan as a whole did not have much, Telesphorus and Amalia did their best to raise their three adopted daughters.

As a hatchling, Armaros looked up to both her parents and her older sisters, Wynara and Asherah.  The three were often seen playing and studying together, and shared a very healthy and happy sibling relationship.

As an adolescent, Amalia began to train the three sisters as warriors.  She taught Armaros the art of swordsmanship, and the Pearlcatcher quickly became quite skilled in this field.  Rapidly, she became the best sword fighter in the clan, who could only be outmatched by her older sister, Asherah.

Now, Armaros and her two sisters serve as Clan Amaranth’s warriors.  She vows to protect her clan, and her family, at all costs.
