Biography
JUPITER
Night Guard, Astronomer, and Alien Enthusiast, Rockfalls ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⚔━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Mate: None Bonded Familiar: Opposing Forces
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
How one usually meets Jupiter in the Ro-Ro clan is him running out of his observatory excitedly spouting something about ‘aliens’ and ‘they are here with us’. The next set of events are either he finds you and starts explaining all of his findings and evidence about these ‘aliens’ or a clan member carefully pulling you away to explain his fascination. Despite this strange fascinating with these imaginary beings, Jupiter is a rather charming and charismatic dragon. His fascination with these beings began when he was a small hatchling. Born with no parents to greet him, he was passed around caretakers without a sense of belonging. Eventually he met an old astronomer who adopted him and showed him the wonders of the stars. His early memories are filled with dusty books and telescopes, star charts, and night skies. He knows how to read the stars better than any draconic words on paper. As a result of this, Jupiter’s adoptive caretaker gave him some books to read to try and get him more familiar with the draconic language. What he didn’t know was that within those books was an old journal from before the Age of Dragons. As he read by candlelight he found the journal and was enraptured by it. He couldn’t read the words, but he could see the diagrams and drawings that were within it. One word kept reappearing and he was able to decipher what it was: Aliens. From that point on he was obsessed with aliens and the discovery of them. He used his caretaker’s telescopes and star charts to good use to in the pursuit of these beings not from his world. Of course his caretaker found out about this discovery and indulged in his searching and spent many nights with him looking into the sky. When Jupiter asked him what they were one day, his caretaker said that, “They… they are beings not from our world but they act much like us. They spend their days searching for others who are like them so that they know they are not alone in the world. Whoever wrote that journal must’ve felt the same.” From that moment Jupiter latched onto those words. For the longest time he felt lonely and without a place to be until he met his caretaker. And, in an abstract way only known to him, Jupiter felt a bond with these ‘aliens’. Even today he still searches for them and spends many nights in his observatory looking for them. Each passing comet or unusual formation of stars he chalks up to aliens and writes them down in his journal before running off to tell the news. A few dragons have told him that these ‘aliens’ don’t exist or otherwise, but he simply replies with, “If one does not look for them, then how can you be sure they were there or not?” Bio by Shadylex |
