Silaz has known since birth that she was destined for great things. Born in the heart of Hewn City with the air still humming from Brightshine Jubilee, her hatching filled the nest with an abundance of Light and color. Her clan and parents took this as a good omen, and she's been considered lucky ever since.

Unfortunately, she loves to test that luck. Since she was a hatchling she's been known to wander off and take on some truly frightening journeys, from sneaking into a local Longneck territory to attempting to catch a Light Sprite. The number of vaguely alarming stories she has about her travels is only matched by the number of times her sister has saved her crystalline hide. The emotional bond between the two is incredibly rare, and the pair fiercely defends each other from any and all others- Silaz with twice her already impressive usual vigor, and Makai with a brand of rage that is completely opposite her usual demeanor.
