Star's Glow
The Stars above the World,
Have they always glittered so?
If not, since when did the Stars begin,
and where do the missing Stars go?

Looking to the Sky, Hymnia began to smile.
Every night, she'd sit and simply watch them.
Watch them live and watch them die.
Observe their silent, stellar lives.
Had the Arcanist made them?
Well, that, she didn't know.
The Stars above her head,
she loved them, even so.

Her elder twin, Erato,
wandered to her side.
Always, she would find her
gazing up at the stars above.
"Hymnia, what about your Muse?"
Erato would always ask, each night.
"Sister, my Muse is right there, up in the sky."
"But the stars cannot love you as a young dragon can..."

Perhaps, for once, Erato was being wise.
Even so, Hymnia would not deny the stars' existence.
No dragon, she knew, could ever capture their beauty.
No dragon, she knew, would ever compare to the starry night.

"It matters not if the stars can love, Erato.
What matters is that, even when I'm not here,
the stars will continue being just that; stars, in the sky.
So long as I can gaze upon their beautiful image,
I can be happy without a dragon by my side."
