Scrawny by guardian standards, this gloomy fellow rattles and jingles as he trudges along. Chimes and bones catch every movement. A tune is hummed, almost thoughtfully, as those pale eyes survey the area. The jury is out on whether or not his periodic sighing is considered "brooding" or "melancholy."

Born to the wandering Clan Whiskerwing, Yeldreig often finds himself drawn to meandering spirits trapped in this world. That, or his music is so bad that it raises the dead. (We have it on good authority that volume isn't the problem - a comrade can only blow so hard into a flute, and chimes are perfectly capable of breaking.) As it is rare for a lost soul to manifest strongly enough to be seen by anyone else, Yeldreig takes it upon himself to honor the wishes of the deceased, which... usually involves finishing some business that the spirit is no longer able to handle.

It's a lot of looking for closure, but not much of a paycheck. But hey, if Interlude exists to help the living look to the future instead of the past, surely someone working here can do the same for the dead.
