• The baker, runs a lovely pastry shop in the heart of the clan
• He has huge sweet tooth, and struggles to not eat the pastries he’s set aside to sell, his friends are sometimes asked to hide the sweets from him
• Soft sunshine child so perfect so kind
• Sews plushies, clothes, and blankets for his clanmates, which he gives to them as presents. They smell vaguely of burnt bread but they’re always well received and well loved
• Has cried over snakes ‘they have no arms! They can't hug!'. Twice. Probably more times but he’s only ever done it twice in public. He just really cares about everything, okay.
• Easily overworks and overloads himself with work and favours he’s promised to his friends. He never tells them how busy he is and always says he has plenty of time.
• Believes in the paranormal, performs 'spells' and sets out charms to keep away evil spirits. Especially from the kitchen. His kitchen's outside is a mess of charms and spells and lucky horseshoes and salt at windowledges and so on. Any evil spirit who came to Marshmallow's kitchen would leave immediately in disgust, at the decor if nothing else.

Marshmallow was doing alright- not well, not really, but alright- with making half-baked, half-burned but nevertheless delicious pastries and cakes in his humble bakery, until Ember came along and rocked his world. The one thing he was and still is famous for, are his chocolate creations. He makes hand-embellished chocolate truffles with unexpected flavour combinations and a surprise in every one, and his favourite thing to make are ridiculously ornate easter eggs. He always makes sure he has a carefully wrapped bundle or seven in his satchel when he leaves home, just in case he sees anyone who looks like they might be hungry, or having a bad day, who might benefit from a sweet- or not- surprise. He can always find the good in people, and has an uncanny gift in picking what a person's favourite chocolate will be.

Cookie is an imperfect Snowsquall Tundra, but if you pointed this out he'd just smile faintly and remark, 'who isn't, these days'. His parents stayed in Oakheart for a time, but moved on swiftly afterwards, not being particularly nurturing sorts. Forgotten, almost abandoned, he hatched from where his egg had rolled under the big iron stove hob in the kitchens. Luckily, it was quite warm in there, for it had been the middle of winter and the hatchling might have frozen to death otherwise. They found him the next morning in the actual oven, which still had some residual heat from the night before- asleep and snoring on his back with the remains of an entire forgotten choc-marshmallow pie all over his face, paws, and fur, and the biggest smile on his sleeping face. No one had the heart to scold him, not even Goldentop (who had hidden the pie in the first place, and was miffed when she found the sleeper in the morning).
Marshmallow was named less for his hide, which looks more like an accident in a chocolate factory- and more for his heart and sweet nature. He stuck to Bard's side since he was a tiny newborn, calling him 'Grampa' and making him incessant, elaborate mud pies as expressions of love, crying heartwrenchingly when Bard said he 'wasn't hungry, really, but thankyou'. The only way to break Marshmallow of the habit of actually eating said mud pies, was to teach him how to cook with real food instead. The day that Marshmallow pulled his first baked good out of the oven, smelled that sweetness, burned his paws touching it and then ate the muffin with absolute reverence- was the single greatest day of his life. He's had a lot of great days since, but that was the start of something special. Then, he knew his life's calling. To make people happier. With baked goods.
