Noreis

The warm wind wound its way around Noreis, tempting her to go further, go higher. The white kamaitachi clung to her back as she swirled in the breeze. Home. Angling into the wind she circled high. Her siblings, Yaazie and Abriel, followed her lead, all of them longing to be home.

With a roar of joy she tucked her wings in and tipped into a headlong dive. Her body thrummed with adrenaline, relishing the speed, the way the wind tore at her as she dropped. A second before the steppes, she flung open her wings and grazed the clifftop as she tore along it.

She could hear the cries of the hatchling's, "The triplets are back! The triplets are back!"

With great effort she slowed and flared out her wings, gently landing near the charging hatchling's. She scooped them into her arms and fell backwards as they cried out, "What have you brought us? What have you found?"

Noreis and her siblings terrorized various clans amongst the flights when they were younger. Causing such an uproar clans were put on high alert when them came around. But as they aged they slowly matured, and when perusing the Zephyr Steppes, found a hatchling too close to the edge. When the rushing wing caught the hatchling, Noreis and her siblings moved into action, catching the young one and returning it safely to its clan.

"You three are welcome to stay. We thank you for rescuing our young one," Tanith had spoken in gratitude.

The trio considered, and decided the rogue life no longer was for them. But exploring and finding new treasures for their clans horde was. They took up the mantle of explorers and scavengers. Occasionally they will take young hatchling's out to explore and teach them some of the many lessons they have learned throughout their lives.
