Rosaeden

Rosaeden has the patience of a glacier. Unperturbed by petty things like decades, she has outlasted trees and tyrants alike. Her stolid perseverance often annoys other dragons, who find her dull or cowardly.
Like most Snappers, Rosaeden rarely stays in one place for very long. Solitary by nature, she often leaves her clan for months at a time to gather materials, meet old friends, or just to think. Few have ever been invited on her sojourns, but those who have recognize what an intimate honor they have received.

Born to a clan ruled by a fickle Guardian with an iron fist, Rosaeden learned her first lesson in patience at her mother's knee. Though the Matriarch's moods were often brutal, they passed as quickly as thunderstorms. All you had to do was hunker down and wait for the winds to change.
She might have remained with her birth-clan forever, but her interest in lapidary stirred her farther and farther afield in search of precious stones and metals. One day, she went so far that she didn't go back, giving into her nomadic instinct. Over time, Rosaeden established a route that took her from mine to mine across the lands. Though she never bothers writing anything down, she has developed a thorough knowledge of the geology and can describe the intricate patterns of mineral deposits in exquisite detail. Unfortunately, her skill in polishing and cutting the stones she finds has not improved at the same rate. She has come to the conclusion that without a skilled partner, her discoveries will never know their full potential.
