A broad grin and a casual pose are as at home on this dragon as a maren is in the sea. He's remarkably light on his feet, possessing a certain measure of grace (albeit not so much in the dignity department, judging by his slack posture), which would mark him as something of an oddity among guardians.

Not that you can really judge his biceps under that armor and cloak. Hazards of bulky clothing, really.

One of the children of the founders of the Windcurrent Clan, Araan is a happy-go-lucky fellow who makes a point of being agreeable. The casual observer might notice his tendency to focus more on establishing a rapport with residents and clients of Interlude rather than keeping a vigilant eye out for trouble. Some might even accuse him of being a terrible guardsdragon. Araan, however, would argue that camaraderie is a better way of keeping tensions low than simply promising retaliation on those who'd cause mischief. Besides, he'd much rather make a friend than rough someone up.

Granted, if one should ever actually succeed in provoking Araan, they would very quickly learn just how many sharp objects a guardian can conceal on their person.
