spaceThere is an unwritten rule at the Bastion that the real questions are never asked. With the clan members and visiting dragons originating from all over Sornieth, it follows that more than a few have histories they would rather not share. This subtle acceptance was the reason Rosere delayed his departure from the airship. Initially the plan was to stop over at the trade hub, purchase supplies and perhaps pick up news of the remnants of his people. Yet days turned into weeks and before long the former chieftain found himself calling the Bastion home, carving a new life for himself out of the anonymity offered by the ruling clan. |
HISTORY OF ROSERE
Chief of the Rinihauvi Tribe

spaceRosere comes from the Cirinau Tribe, born of Hopes and Hibiscus. A child of royal birth, he was destined to later become chief of his father's tribe. Per the tribes' tradition, he was to take a dragon from the Hrieuni Tribe as his mate. However, Tempesta of the Hrieuni Tribe was infected with gembond. Rosere felt wronged; the other tribes dared to mock him by giving him an imperfect mate. Despite everything, he still took Tempesta as his mate, though he sought war with his birth tribe and the Hrieuni Tribe. spaceBanished from his home, he and Tempesta fled to the Viridian Labyrinth. There, they happened upon a small, familial clan known as the Clan of the Lost Woods. There, the pair planned a coup. The clan dragons fought strong and valiantly, but after many lives were lost, they surrendered, and Wildwood gave up his title of Lord. So Rosere converted the peaceful clan into a tribe of warriors, giving them the name of the Rinihauvi Tribe - the renegade tribe. spaceFor a year, the new tribe remained in the Viridian Labyrinth, and Rosere and Tempesta hatched the First Clutch - the newest blood in the royal line. When his children were finally grown, Rosere took his tribe and returned to his homeland in Dragonhome. There, they settled on the brink of Greatwyrm's Breach. War would come to the Cirinau and Hrieuni Tribe. spaceWar raged on for many seasons, and it claimed many lives. Strife ran rampant amongst the tribe, and as the war drew to a desolate close, the Rinihauvi Tribe broke asunder. Most of the tribe left for their old home in the Viridian Labyrinth. Rosere and his family split apart as well, each going their different ways. spaceHis own daughter, Prauhi, couldn't even look at him for the shame she felt; he had gotten so many of his kin and tribemates killed in a senseless war. |
