Although a newer arrival to the clan, Freida is one of its eldest members in terms of age. She is fairly old for a Nocturne, and quite a bit older than her long-time mate and traveling companion Tafsut (although that doesn't have much bearing on their relationship). Once an itinerant midwife, she is not as spry and capable of travel as she used to be; thus, she has settled down with Tafsut at her side and now provides her services to Bhrasenia and the surrounding areas.

Her gruff, no-nonsense personality can take strangers aback...but she is really not so bad once you get to know her. Honest.

• Often assists Pax when an extra pair of steady hands is need in the clan's infirmary.
• Is not squeamish at all; she knows how to clean fish and game as well as deliver eggs, so blood and gore do not faze her one bit.
