Artilath is essentially a giant teddy bear. He's big and soft and cuddly, he laughs easily and often, and he loves nothing more than games and snuggles. He's in precisely the right place looking after the very young of the Monastery, and it's often difficult to tell if it's him or the Hatchlings having more fun. Artilath loves each and every one of the younglings as if they were his own; never growing tired of them, never becoming annoyed with them, and always there to pick them back up when they fall.

He's not much different outside of the Creche either. Jolly and with childlike enthusiasm for everything, it seems like sunshine (and snuggles) follow him wherever he goes. Some dragons can find his boundless energy and enthusiasm a little wearing, but Artilath doesn't mind. Why would he spend his time with grumpy adults when he can have far more fun with the kids?
