Personality

Has an extremely serene feel to him. Speaks very soft and airy, and loves to use bigger words than most dragons would bother to use.
Has a very smooth way of talking, and tends to try to find ways to get out of a situation, twist words, and get his way regardless of the situation. He doesn't enjoy being talked back to.
... Some might even say that he is purely manipulative and that he will stop at nothing to talk, manipulate and guilt you into taking his side. Of course, anyone who he may have manipulated into anything will insist that he has not, that they would know better and that this was their own choice.

History
Life was easy when you came from a high ranking, elite family. The moment he was born, he was regarded highly, as if he was a noble... And act like one he did. But it wasn't arrogance, or sticking his nose up at others. Instead, unlike his more bloodthirsty relatives, he spoke of kindness and taking care of one another. It earned him nothing but laughs, and instead of accepting the kindness and warmth he tried to give, they pushed him away. Said he was too weak for their family, not fitting to lead them at all. They said that he would grow over it, and that he'd learn their ways soon enough.

But a family who is so isolating and distrusting towards strangers does not always work in one's favour, and one might miss priceless pieces of information needed for survival. Over the months, their elders died, and then were buried together in a graveyard specially made for them, where they would stay forever. Or so they thought. The slaughter was imminent and all-encompassing, and almost none made it out alive. Most were dead before they even registered the huge, rotting body with seven heads tearing them apart.

The only one left alive was the young Imperial, too small to be seen by the lumbering monstrosity before him as he watched his family members get slaughtered before his eyes. It had been taken down not too long after it appeared, or maybe someone had took him and ran from the place, he couldn't quite recall. But all he knew was that that beast, that mindless monstrosity had been the most gorgeous thing he had ever seen in his entire life.

He became obsessed with it, wanted to know everything about the incarnations of destruction and pledged his entire life to researching and recreating them. He wanders Sornieth, recruiting others to follow his cause, using charming words and a gentle voice to change their minds about what they called nothing but insults, to change their mind that they were to be feared. In his eyes, they were to be revered, worshipped even more than any Gods. He made a contract with Erebus for a lifetime of loyalty, recruited Sartra with a gentle voice, and recruited Ker in much the same way, with gentle words and a soothing smile, the moment he learned of the young Imperial's affinity for dead-raising magic.

And one day, the Guardian that he had sent off to spy on the Murder's allied clan came back with news that she had overheard while there. Imperial bodies being left to the depths of dark water, left to rot under the waves. Needless to say, the moment he heard, he sent Erebus to intimidate the Fae that had done the discovery to give them the location of the bodies. Once the information was there, he had ordered the Necromancer to drag the bodies from the seas.

And finally, after all those years, his wish of seeing the most gorgeous creature on Sornieth's surface came true. In fact, he got to see it from very close up, and was even given the chance to be one with them, leaving the Guardian with no reason for existence and Erebus with merely a scrap of silk.

Trivia

Despite his rather dark personality, he still enjoys the usual, calm and meaningful hobbies. This includes reading, drinking tea, puzzles and cardgames. Regarding the latter, though, a lot of dragons he's played again could swear he cheated his way towards victory.
He adores dressing as... Angelic as possible, covering parts of the dark red staining his wings and body. Most of the time, the eyes of people he speaks to divert towards the ethereal silks rather than to the foreboding red, which is playing right into his hands. Lord knows he's been cast aside by the more superstitious clans for his... Bloody coloration.
