Opinionated, defensive, formal
Niamh watches over the Empyreal clan's storehouses. If her impressive bulk doesn't scare intruders away, she sears them with a gust of scorching air and stops them in their tracks.
She's critical of Ridgebacks and their thieving tendencies, and for good reason. When she was young and still lived at her birthplace, an unscrupulous Ridgeback clanmate stole a luminous opal from her. That Ridgeback planned to use it in a game and then return it, but Niamh was absolutely distraught. That opal was actually her charge, and she vowed to do anything to get it back. When the thief came face to face with the raging Guardian, he lost her nerve and fled with the opal, never to return.
Niamh left her old clan in a huff, furious that they failed her. She found a new opal of a similar size and luster, but it's just not the same.
