Biography
One of two, Alena is, alongside her brother, the only child of Aillea, the clan Oracle, to survive past hatchling hood. A bold, brash dragoness, Alena is eager to follow the path her mother has set out for her, wishing deeply to become a strong battlemage to impress her; even if she really has no real idea as to why her mother has set this path for her and her brother. It seems not to matter to Alena, as her mother's praise and approval is all that the glittering eyes and heart of this dragoness wants.
She speaks of power, of victory, proclaiming wherever her magic falls, none shall stand. She scorns those who do not see this, or fully realise the power she holds. Her mother finds great pride in this, and hopes Alena's ways will convince her son to follow in her footsteps. As it stands, Alena finds great frustration in her brother's want to become a healer, and often bites and bullies him until he is beaten into training with her. She sees him as weaker, inferior, but does as her mother tells her without fault; she thinks her brother would be better off not existing all the same, in secret, and has much contempt for him.
Having secretly begatten many a child and nest with Kibir, unbeknownst to him, Aillea was finally done and rid of him when he was able to sire her the children she so desperately needed and wanted. Unaware his children, alive and dead, exist, Kibir is none the wiser, and merely bitter for being scorned.
None but Aillea know of the destiny her precious gifts posses, and the future she sees for them both; she refuses to reveal their father, keeping them secret within the belly of the Mage's Tower away from him. And as such, many believe them to be born of magic and darkness. Whatever Aillea's purpose, whatever she so sees that made her try so very hard for her children, is surely something extreme.
It sends a shiver down the spine of those precious few whom are aware of the twins' existence. Only time will tell what their destinies hold.
