[Name] was born and raised amongst pirates, never staying in one place. The shimmer of gold always catching her eye, [Name] quickly grew into a renowned, and infamous treasure hunter. She jealously guards her hoard of riches in a remote cavern, ripping to shreds anyone who comes too close to finding it.
As night descended on the island, the shadows grew longer, reaching down from the palm trees like twisted fingers to rake at the shore. A flash of copper scales rushes by, kicking up sand as the end of a feathered tail whisks around the corner of an old brick building. [Name] comes to a halt at the bottom of a large window, peering up over the bottom edge into the room within. A large Guardian is sleeping in the corner of the room, a sliver of moonlight shining onto a heavily scarred face. [Name] glances over their sleeping form, and studies the room. A glint of gold betrays a cache of treasure beneath a loose board in the room. Quiet as a mouse, [Name] slides the window up and climbs inside. After another quick glance at the Guardian, she reaches down and silently pries the board out of the floor, and scooping out several heavy bags of coins. A toothy grin spreads across [Name]'s face as she weighs them in her claws. The board is replaced unnoticed, and she begins to crawl back towards the window, but halts as something catches in the corner of her eye. The other dragon shifts in their sleep, revealing a large key strung ulon a thick golden chain around their neck, jingling ever so slightly in a way that makes [Name] shiver. She quickly fastens the bags of gold into her satchel, and creeps over to the sleeping Guardian. The wildclaw, careful not to make a sound, studies the chain closely. It appears old and somewhat battered, but still strong. She squints, finally finding what she's looking for: a weak spot in the gold. Quick as a whip she cuts through it with a sharp snap. A great luminescent eye opens suddenly as the Guardian wakes with a start. Before they can get a good look at [Name], she darts out of the window with the key and chain, leaving a shiny red feather and a cry of rage behind in her wake- the sound of a guardian who has just been robbed of their charge.
