Iris is a skilled Mage in.. Most of what she can cast. But her specialization seems to lay in machine magics, a more subset of magic skills that interact better with machines, then it does anything else inn the world. She's mostly used it on golems, and to make the ship have it's own magic engine, so they never have to set anchor, and can go and stop as they please.

She's taken to training under Lord Owea to better her magic.

Iris has set up a teleporting system for the Reifin's, so it's easier to haul their treasure up to the Clan, so Aven and Zavi can see what they've picked up.
