Biography

Lilli is unique! There is no other dragon with her colors and genes on this whole site.
(LORE REVAMP, I need to rewrite this, look away look away)
Joker Fandragon?

As a hatchling, Lilli looked out upon the world from her father's embrace. Yes, her father's. Not her mother's. Never her mother's.
Lilli's mom was a spiral by the name of Toxin. And she never cared for her mate. As Lilli grew older, this made her sad to see the love in her father's eyes whenever he saw Toxin. And she did not look at him the same way.
Lilli wished there was something she could do...
One day, when Lilli looked into a pool of water, she saw her reflection for the first time. And was aghast at what she saw.
She was...hideous.
In her eyes, she was a monster. Horrible and disfigured.
Lilli hid herself and refused to come out. She did not answer her father's calls. She did not heed her brothers' pleading.
Lilli hid in that hollow tree and closed herself off from the world.
It was only when Toxin's voice drifted through the branches that Lilli finally lifted her head and looked towards the source of the sound.
"Mother?" she croaked.
"Lilli."
She ducked her head into the hollow again, before Toxin could see her face.
"Come out, Lilli. You can't hide in there forever."
"Why not?"
Lilli's answer was not defiant. Nor was there a hint of a challenge at all. It was just a simple, innocent question from a hatchling too young to understand that there was nothing wrong with her. Not in any way that mattered.
"Because our lives are not meant to be lived in a hole. Come out."
Lilli listened...and then slowly came out of the tree, exposing her horrible-looking scales. She flinched as she faced Toxin.
The spiral reached out one, uncharacteristically gentle paw, and stroked her daughter's face.
"It doesn't matter what you look like," she said, her voice soft.
Then she turned...and disappeared into the forest.
Lilli stood still, gazing after her.
Whatever Toxin said, Lilli was still ashamed of her appearance, and she fled.
She ran away from her home...and into the deep, lush forests of the Nature flight. And she hid there.
Lilli built herself a tiny den near Shadow's lair, but she did not enter, nor did she consider herself part of that lair.
She stayed on the outskirts and tried to stay out of everyone's way.
And there she stayed, until one day...
SPLASH.
Lilli jumped and scurried behind a boulder, her heart pounding ferociously against her chest. She had thought she was all alone.
A voice floated up to her, saying, "Man. And just when I finished cleaning my mane..."
Curious for the first time in weeks, Lilli peeked around the corner of the stone.
A young pearlcatcher struggled in the water weeds of the tiny pond, so tangled in the plants and muck that his scale color was quite indistinguishable. Much less his mane.
Lilli stifled a giggle as the pearlcatcher tried to get on land, slipped, and landed face first in a puddle.
He emerged, spluttering.
The thought of revealing herself occurred to the young pearlcatcher, but she was so afraid he would think her a swamp monster or the like, that the laughter died from her eyes, replaced by the old insecurity.
She gulped and ducked her head lower, but kept the male in her sight. It was nice to see another dragon for a little while, even if he would never see her.
The male pearlcatcher, meanwhile, had managed to drag himself onto dry land and lay there, coughing and gasping for breath.
Lilli's heart went out to him, but she did not stir from her place among the foliage.
The pearlcatcher sighed slowly, his mud-covered chest rising and falling gently.
Lilli smiled, rather sadly, as she watched him. She felt this odd pull in her own chest, and it took a moment to realize it was loneliness. And that she wanted to go speak to this dragon.
Well...
She found her willpower crumbling.
After all, he's not looking too handsome himself...
Lilli realized she had taken a step forward, out of her hiding place.
But...what if he runs away? What if he laughs at me? What if-
Lilli's thought was sliced neatly in two as the pearlcatcher raised his head and their eyes met.
Then, an extraordinarily harsh, powerful thought struck in her mind, fast and bright as lightning.
It was a strange feeling. Like she could fly and never have to come down. But only if he was with her... Always...
Looking into his face, Lilli could tell the same odd mixture of emotions was rolling through him.
Lilli grew afraid of it, of him, and she tried to break eye contact to run...to hide... To hide from the deep blue eyes that tugged at her soul. To hide from the whirlwind of feelings inside her...
But she found she could not.
After a moment, he broke the silence.
"Hello."
He staggered to his paws and didn't seem to notice the mud dripping down his legs and puddling at his paws.
"Hello," Lilli whispered, her paws rooted to the ground.
"Who are you?" he asked her, searching her face. Lilli wondered what he thought of her.
"My name is-" Lilli hesitated for a fraction of a second. A list of names rolled through her head like a flood: Beast... Ugly Duckling... Monster...
"Lilli," she whispered. "My name...is Lilli."
"Hello Lilli. I'm Lucky."
She slowly nodded, not breaking eye contact.
"Would you like to come to my home to clean up, Lucky?" she asked softly. She had not spoken for so long...and her voice was unusually quiet. But Lucky seemed to catch every word.
"If you don't mind," he replied, shaking his scales slightly, sending mud everywhere. He looked like he had forgotten it was there.
"I don't."
Lucky walked around the pond and Lilli led him to her den.
There, he washed himself off, and when he emerged, Lilli had to work hard to conceal her amazement.
He looked nothing like the mud-covered dragon she had seen a moment ago!
His scales were a deep, radiant blue that matched his eyes, and a radioactive green splattered itself across his wings, shoulders, neck, head, tail, and paws.
I wish I looked like that...
Lilli gave a hollow, mental laugh.
I wish I looked like anything other than this, more like.
Lucky began to tell her about himself, and they grew closer than the best of friends in one day.
Lucky built a den beside hers, telling her he was nomad and was searching for a place to stay. He kept saying he had to leave... But he never did.
Eventually, both Lucky and Lilli realized what that strange emotion was.
Love.
Love at first sight.
When Lilli told Lucky how she had come to be here, he gave her a surprised look and said, "Lilli... What are you talking about? You're beautiful. And even if you weren't, why does that even matter?"
Lilli felt herself floating on clouds for the rest of the day.
They became mates the very next day.
