The Lone Warrior

lightv1.png Lyanna was born into royalty in a lavish Light clan. The young princess was waited on hand and foot, giving her bountiful meals and gifts. She and her parents, the king and queen of the large kingdom, sat atop the Beacon of the Radiant Eye to be honoured by their subjects. Lyanna felt as worshiped as the Lightweaver herself.

Tragedy struck when the royal family were ambushed in their castle, and Lyanna watched her parents get assassinated before her very eyes. The terrified pearlcatcher flew away to escape, and her clan was engulfed in war. Lyanna wandered the streets of the Hewn City until she met a wise old woman who took her in. This dragon taught Lyanna how to defend herself in battle, and Lyanna grew into a fierce warrior.

Lyanna fought with the remaining dragons of her clan, but they were no match for their opponents. Soon, the clan's numbers dwindled until there was nothing left to defend. Lyanna sat alone with only her pearl left as any remembrance of the once powerful kingdom. The pearl was cracked and hollow, like Lyanna's soul. She felt an emptiness that no dragon should ever have to endure.
