Flicker

Flicker came to Clan Yonder with his mate, Azra, after the two of them were exiled from their previous clan. A plot had been uncovered to usurp the current leadership, and Flicker had played a vital role in helping Azra attempt this.

Originally, they were only planning to stay in Clan Yonder for a short while, as Azra was carrying eggs and needed a place to nest until the hatchlings were old enough to travel, but they both found things that made them want to stay. As Azra begins to plot to take over the swiftly growing clan, Flicker strays further and further away from compliance to his mate's demands.

When he came to the clan, Flicker was cowardly and followed Azra's wishes without question but he has flourished in their new home. The less strict measures has allowed him to discover who he really is, and he has discovered a passion for gardening. His prized possession is his Greenroot Janustrap, whom he named his son after (much to Azra's annoyance).

His relationship with Azra grew quite strained, as he does not want any part in plotting the takeover of the clan. They are no longer mates. He sent their son Janus away to keep him out of Azra's plotting.

He is the only mirror in the clan to not be part of the mirror pack, as he has a strange lack of the bloodlust that usually is common in the breed. However, he does occasionally join them for hunts,though he does not wish to be an official member.

When Azra took over the clan, he remained true to his word and did not have any part in helping her. He watched with horror, however, as she transformed the clan he had grown to love into everything that embodied Azra's ideals. He was too cowardly, though, to challenge her, and he lived every day in fear of being driven out. It got to the point where he had even set aside packets of seeds to take with him should that day ever come.

However, when the rebellion began, Flicker fought against his ex-mate. He found his courage once again. As Clan Yonder has become his home, and everything he loves in the world, he has worked tirelessly to help rebuild the damage done to it. Now that the clan is restored, he has returned to his quiet life of gardening.
