 B I O G R A P H Y
There tends to be a lot of conflicting ideas about Ruriske. Once calling the Windswept Plateaus home, she found the bustle there to be a bit too much to her liking. She met Solaria back when she was still a Tundra just finding her place out in the Sunbeam Ruins, and figured she could help out a fellow dragon with taking care of the young. Thus, her role began as the clan's caretaker. She enjoyed her job, but it became something special when Nepenthes was born. Her personality definitely rubbed off onto the young Tundra, and she's been happy to let the more active and energetic Tundra lead the House of Awakening. The way she looks might work well for the younger dragons, but that doesn't always persist when the hatchlings she raises grow up. It doesn't help matters much when older dragons think she might have been a bit crueler when the clan was in its younger stages, and they have a point. Ruriske had to be a bit more stern to discipline younger dragons and let them know that their home wasn't always as safe as it appears to be. Not a horror story, but it's something that keeps others on their toes. But that was a time long ago, and now the Snapper simply laughs to herself when those topics come up. She doesn't mind the rumors that brew up amongst others; in fact, she loves hearing them and telling them among the House of Awakening's other high-ranking members: Nepenthes and Horizon..
