Astrum

astrum is latin for star
As you walk alone at night, you see beautiful fireflies floating nearby, the coo's of the owls are calming, the crickets chirping makes you feel at ease. The moon shines it's beautiful glow on the tops of the trees and the lake was glinting against the moonlight, sparkling unerneath it's glow.

Late night strolls into the forest always has a way of calming you down, even if you are aware of the dangers that lurk in it's shadows, they never bothered you anyway.

You suddenly heard rustling in the bushes, you glanced at the direction of the sound but saw nothing, thinking it was most probably a deer, a rabbit, or a-
A low growl pauses your thoughts.

A creature jumped to attack you, it was too dark to make out any features, but it sure was fast and strong. You were weak without anyone to help you, you closed your eyes waitig for it to kill you.

But then it stopped, you heard a soft thud and cracked open an eye. You were surprised to see it laying dead on the ground.
You then felt something move. You turned to look at who saved you but all you see was a glimpse of a purple tail and a gembond that glinted in the moonlight, then they- whoever they were- was gone.

That experience didn't stop you from going back there though, but evertime you stay there, you feel your stand and it feels like someone is looking at you.

You'd always catch a glimpse of two glowing pink eyes staring at you, but when you blink it's gone, as if it was never there.

You aren't sure if you'll ever meet them, but you later realized some of your belongings are missing
