B I O G R A P H Y

Despite his name and ferocity in battle, Demon is actually a relatively peaceful dragon. He mainly keeps to himself, not wanting to frighten or offend other dragons. The claws only come out when a member of his clan is threatened. If he must fight, he will do so honorably, without using trickery or cheap shots to gain the upper hand.

Demon may have earned a reputation as a loner, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't desire company. He's simply given up on trying to show others that they have nothing to worry about from him. He may often be lonely, but he refuses to let his feelings get in the way of protecting his clan.

His days are mostly spent honing his battle skills. Even when he's not fighting, he likes to watch other dragons spar, learning new techniques and strategies from them. He figures that if the whole clan sees him as a fighter, he might as well live up to the reputation.

B I O G R A P H Y

Demon was born to be a fighter. His sharp instinct and quick reflexes made it easy for him to pick apart an opponent's moves in battle, and his strength enabled him to fight back quite effectively. His skills were admired by those within his clan...until the day they saw how dangerous he really was, in a fight to the death with an enemy who threatened them.

Blood, fresh and brighter in color than his scales, dripped from the sharp talons on his hind limbs. Although he had been fighting for the protection of the clan, guarding them from one who sought to harm them, hatchlings and adults alike looked at him with fear in their eyes. He wasn't a bloodthirsty dragon by any means. But he was fierce, strong, and fought viciously. The code of honor he lived by demanded that he protect his fellow clanmates at any cost, yet they didn't see the valor in his actions. They saw only the violence.

Head bowed, Demon attempted to ignore the wary gazes and whispered warnings. "Even his name is scary," a female dragon murmured, clutching her hatchling closer to her. "I don't want him around our young." The words stung, but the Wildclaw kept his expression neutral, a calm facade. Refusing to make eye contact, he hurried forward, until he was hidden from the eyes that stared so openly at him.

Demon thought that in time, his clan members would see that he only posed a threat to their enemies. He waited patiently for the day that their trust in him was restored. But as he grew stronger, the clan's opinion of him only grew worse.
