Gaul

The sunrise lit up the sky as Gaul's eyes first took in the world around him. His parents were delighted to see him healthy, of course - even after so many nests, they still took delight in watching their little ones join Sornieth. A cheer of celebration rang through the air as Gaul shook off the last of his egg's shell, and his parent's faces fell. A dragon born during the Brightshine Jubilee was believed to be chosen for the Lightweaver's side.

The couple handed their hatchlings and a heavy amount of gold to Ariva, a trusted friend and a smuggler. They were put in crates and taken out of the clan grounds, with Grazia's leaders none the wiser.

The young Imperial and his siblings were taken in by the witch Kalina. Gaul is the most easygoing of his siblings. The cave which the four Imperials call their home is covered in brambles and vibrant flowers which Gaul has called into being.
