Biography
Appearance, Childhood, Middle aged, Adult years and legends, Steel Crest
Athena is an older, grizzled senior residing in Steel Crest, a dragon never seen without weapon or armor on her body. Her crystalline physique makes her appear as a chiseled, muscular but lithe statue with weathers that glimmer like dew on the ground in the early morning. Although her frame puts one in awe, her stare as she catches your eyes is intense and you can feel the Skydancer's bright golden gem atop her crest prod at your soul.
As far as Athena can recall, she was born and raised in a massive city of Light, with few memories of being raised by an angelic Imperial dame. Being carried along, caressed by sparkling masses of blushing fur turns abruptly into standing alone in the streets, scraping for change and scavenging for food where she could. Her memories as a child are riddled with the abuse a young, active Spiral would suffer as a homeless dragon in a city of royals. Queens and kings would take her under wing only to cast her away, no one had the time for a spastic child that innocently revealed their dirty secrets to the wrong ears. She witnessed many atrocities in this city and her sense of justice was too strong for the horrific politics that deems murder excusable where need be.
Books and scrolls ruled Athena as an adolescent, she grew like the other scholars of Light but on her own, excelling in history and geography and reading stories about explorers that left their homes to see the world.
(WIP. Athena grows to seek adventure and travels across the world and begins to see how ugly it can be even outside of her city. She can no longer turn a blind eye to injustices, starting to fight other dragons over things like attacking elderly, defenseless dragons to stopping murder. Her first kill is a Wildclaw mother she stopped from killing her own young. The mother turned on Athena as she stood in between her and the young dragons, relentlessly attacking her until Athena was given no other choice but to take her down. Her children watched in horror, and as Athena turned to them to offer their help, they ran in horror. Ultimately Athena was confused and ashamed until another Wildclaw came to her, telling her that this is how life is for these dragons. The Wildclaw for some time acted as her mentor, introducing her to a clan where Athena fell into place as another dragon fighting to survive.
Work out how she became a Skydancer. I want it to be through something extravagant. She became a warrior of justice that she deemed worthy, and there are rumors she is worshiped by some clans.)
