Some dragons adore the Lightweaver a bit more than most others, and spend their entire lives trying their best to follow in Her footsteps. Every time they are faced with a choice and have a decision to make, they think "what would She have done?" They observe Her past choices, Her values, Her aspirations, Her habits - everything - and do everything in their might to strive towards those. But even that is not enough for them: a dragon cannot consider themselves a true Devout until they resemble Her in appearance as well as spirit. As such, the Devoted have spent centuries finding, inventing and perfecting colour-changing magics until they achieve the greatest likeness with Her that they possibly can, as well as choosing mates as similar to Her in colours as they can.

As a result of all this hard work (*cough*stalking*cough*), many dragons find the Devoted a bit hard to deal with. A common phrases used to describe them are “arrogant a****”. Still, those able to look past their initial bad impressions of them often find extremely skilled mages with a strong sense of right and wrong and an extremely strong drive to make wrongs right again, if it is in their power (and sometimes even if it is not).

Contrary to what many think, the Devoted do not shy from battle. Sure, they prefer to talk their opponents into oblivion if they can, but if they cannot, they will not hesitate to employ extremely strong Light and Illusory spells to enforce what they think is “right”, often leaving their opponents blinded and/or mad if they do not concede and admit defeat in time.
