Biography

No one is entirely sure if Caleb is a true Spiral dragon, or a creation of the Dryads. He speaks in sign, for he cannot speak with his voice, and seems unable to hear as well, though many have seen him react to sudden sounds as if he could hear them. Dryads and other forest creatures, too, seem to have no difficulty communicating with him.
Some say the mask covering his face holds his soul, others say that it resides in the flowers on his body, which open when he awakes and close when he sleeps. It is said that when those flowers wilt or otherwise die, Caleb will die too. Whichever is true, his body consists of twisted vines and bright green leaves, woven together to form his shape.
Because the fact that his body is see-through in some places unsettles some dragons, he has attempted to cover most of those parts by wrapping green and brown bits of cloth around himself.
