Nightmarewing

Nightmarewing is a dragon of note; she is the keeper of prophecies within the clan and is the one who sees into the future in an attempt to understand the machinations of the future. Her predictions tend be very accurate if she is not under stress for if that is present, she tends to get very irritable and will not be able to see clearly. When angry, she enters the dreams of those who have angered her and places horrendous nightmares within the realm of their dreams, often scaring said dragons in the process. New dragons are warned but the plucky few learned the hard way; one was seen clutching his familiar and wouldn’t let go for days.

Her dressage denotes a rather dark demeanor; on which she would keep that dressage for it reflects her identity. Her clothing is something she has gathered through her travels in her land of birth – the Tangled Wood. She has a soft spot for small furry creatures, as evidenced by Lumiere, her aptly named Swift Volt. Her familiar follows her everywhere and sometimes is spotted before she is due to the creature’s glow.

She has many children and though she has not seen many of them, she hopes that they will go to a place where they will be treated fairly and equally, much as she is here, despite her appearance and personality. The other dragons respect her skills and sometimes, she does readings for fun (or a little bit of insects or treasure).
