Granitelegs is – or was – a fine craftsman. He served Anwyl for many years dedicating his time to creating armor and tools for the Night Papillon Clan to survive with. Without him surely the clan would not have survived. His lovely and perfectly normal mate, Zola, has always said so, and makes a point to remind everyone about it. Especially when Feyace gets a touch to curious.

The past tense is implied because Granitelegs has been unable to make anything good in quite some time. No one can say for sure when his work began declining or rather Granitelegs himself began declining. All anybody remembers for certain is that his spectacles broke and he has never been the same. Although no one can prove how they broke or why he simply will not replace them. Or who broke them, because no one did.

All is for certain is that Granitelegs is a respectable member of the clan. Even if he spends his days muttering nonsense to himself and working on his “art”. His sculptures are surely better than silly armor or weapons for the clan. Of course they are, his mate says so.

Zola says all sorts of things about him. Like how he forgets a lot of things, but that is okay. She'll remember for him. Or how irksome it is when he tries to remember things that do not matter. All that matters, is that she loves him.
