Sighing with relief, you finally reach the bamboo-clad cliff that Theia had described, and sure enough the maize and green Skydancer you had been searching for was perched atop the rocky outcrop, seemingly preoccupied with some pieces of bamboo and cloth.

You call out, and the dragon turns to you with a start. Grinning, he glides down to the small clearing you are standing in, and gives you a short bow.

"Hello there, fellow traveller," he said, eyes glinting through the holes of his mask. "My name is Soren, the Windbound Haven's Envoy of Wind. How may I assist you?"




Contrary to his name, Soren is perhaps one of the most care-free and relaxed dragons of the Windbound Haven, and his cheerful and kind disposition has won him the favour of many of the Haven's residents. A wanderer by nature, he can rarely be found within the confines of the Haven's territory, instead preferring to explore the plentiful nooks and crannies scattered across the Windswept Plateau. His frequent touring of the Plateau and aerial exploits has lead him to be considered by the Haven as their most adept flier, a title which has earned him the position of the Haven's Courier and Messenger. When he is not exploring or delivering messages, he can be found sunning himself on his favourite clifftops across the Zephyr Steppes and making kites out of bamboo and cloth for the Haven's hatchlings.

As the Haven's Envoy of Wind, it is Soren's responsibility to maintain good relationships with the other dragon clans within the Windsinger's domain. Due to the strong and often unpredictable winds that sweep across the Reedcleft Ascent, Soren has also been tasked with monitoring any changes in the wind and warning the Haven of any dangerous weather conditions that could potentially harm the Haven's residents.
