P O L A R I S
m o o n . a n d . s t a r s

God of stars, space, and the sky. Considered the eldest deity, Polaris has a solidified place in most versions of creation myths. Whether she originates from the stars, or was the first of them, her role as one of the ones who set in place the foundations of the cosmos is unchanging. Her duty as a creator continues later on, being the one who brought forth the twins, sun and moon, to watch over the land.

As such, most of those who turn to her are creatives. Artists, Carpenters, sculptors, writers - many of those who create find refuge in Polaris, be it just a prayer to help with creative blockages, or devoting their entire lives to her ways. While taking an important role in the pantheon, she isn't as big of a center of worship, not having many temples solely dedicated to her. Those who are, however, are beautiful, having deeply detailed paintings and sculptures, as well as a stunning and colorful architecture. Household shrines, found a lot more frequently than temples, are equally breathtaking, each with the faithful's personal touches shining through.

The stars reflected on the ocean shifted as a gust of wind stirred the water's surface.
Fate and Time, although always walking hand in hand, always seemed to drift apart.

The youngest of the two, Vega, looked up at the stars.
They wondered, was Polaris also looking down at the ocean?
The thought is fleeting - Time always seems to catch up.

By Fate, the eldest caught a glimpse of something. It was brief,
but she is sure a light shone particularly bright amidst the sea of stars above.
