It can be calm and still or rough and sharp but in the end,
It is always beautiful.

Jay is like a breeze on the ocean. His personality is calm, and his presence is calming. Dragons who are around him always comment on smelling salt water. He has the best advice for lonely or hurting dragons, and he never seems to get put down by anything. His favorite place to be is down near the water.

Jay is like many water dragons, with his intense love of the sea. He felt, though, that his place was somewhere other than in the Tidelord's domain. He set out and found this clan in a cave overlooking the sea. He loves the aura of wonder that the Arcanist's domain radiates. This bolsters his love and interest of the ocean, and sometimes he will even disappear into the crashing waves for weeks on end.

One of his best friends is a pearlcatcher named Fukurokuju. They often sit together, with Elend, down near the beach. He loves to lay on the edge of the water and trail his wings in the waves. He often makes unusual friends, like a passing manatee or small fish or... whale...
