Biography
Personality- Curious, intelligent, strong minded, very sure of her abilities.
Mate- ———
Offspring- (excluding past chicks) ——-
GoldShimmer once had it all. Loving and careful parents, protective siblings who always got along. A handsome mate and beautiful children.
But Parents leave, siblings take their own paths, mates die and children leave the nest..
As a young adult (for dragons anyway) she left her home in search of something new. The journey was long and food was scarce but she knew the coast would be teeming with life and food would be plentiful, so she pushed forward.
Days later she couldn’t fly anymore so she landed to try to find something to eat.
As she prowled the coastside forest and enjoyed the warmth of the day, and the salty scent of the ocean she heard wingbeats and ducked her head. She turned her head to the sky as an ice blue Mirror dragoness flew overhead. From her claws dangled a deer skin full of fish. One of which fell and thudded onto the earth near where GoldShimmer crouched. She hurried and gulped the fish down quickly, shivering a bit as it slid down her throat. She had never had a fish before, after all and did not care for the sliminess, but she couldn’t afford to be picky right now. She watched the dragoness fly to a stone hill over looking the sea and small beach. She landed and started to drag the deerskin into a small opening.
A small blue bogsneak chick fumbled out of the den and to her great surprise, the Mirror Dragoness snarled and swatted the young dragon away from the food she brought.
She had to hold back a bark of anger as she watched the chick roll down the small hill.
The chick shook her tiny head and let a long tounge out of her mouth to dangle before she got up and pranced up the hill again.
GoldShimmer chuckled a bit but her concern was present. Was the chick not the Dragoness’s? She looked close enough to her in color that she may be so. She stepped out of the bushes timidly but quickly stepped back as a massive Tundra male glided too close over her head. She watched him land next to the den with a hog he had caught and dropped it with a sneeze. The chick from before ran out to greet him and GoldShimmer braced herself to jump out and defend the poor thing, but to her surprise the tundra male lowered his head to nuzzle the chick. He then pushed the hog to her to eat.
GoldShimmer was very confused.. He looked nothing like her father, yet- She stared at the two for a long moment before slowly backing up. She’d stick around for a while, she decided.. to try to figure it all out. She had to. It was bugging her. She slunk into the bushes to find a place to settle for the night.
