Protection, peace and power, that is the motive of this flight. The Black dragons are confident individuals who are not afraid to take a hit and defend their home. Though besides being a military sort-of union they work as scouts, guards or peacekeepers ~~and babysitters~~. Every society needs a way to maintain order and protect their people after-all. Black drakes are usually idle in their actions, since we aren't ALWAYS under attack, so they spend their time doing other tasks, which may be for the benefit of the clan or just simple hobbies.
They usually deal with threats such as the Beastclans, wild animals, and possibly uninvited dragons from other regions.

loud and strong (kinda like Undyne)
acts harsh and serious around her co-workers (other leaders) and the Black Dragons
but is outgoing and friendly around random dragonfolk, friends and family and kids
adores hatchlings
often plays with hatchlings and helps babysit them
even rarely raises some parent-less hatchlings herself
is really playful and fun-loving with hatchlings, loves making them laugh and plays pretend games a lot (like pirates and stuff)
gets super embarrassed if someone catches her messing with the kids (cus sometimes she is TOO into the game) and immediately attempts to shrug it off and get back into serious-mode
though if it's one of her Black Dragons she will shout orders at them and scare them into not telling anyone (though pretty much everyone already knows)
"Corporal, you tell one soul of this and you will be flying laps around the territory of the clan until your wings fall off your back!"

bcst: her home clan was under attack when she still young, her parents made sure she escaped before the intruders found her. she swore to herself to never let that happen to another family again.
was found by one of the dragon from the refuge, tired, scared and angry. was pretty aggressive for a while and didnt speak at all, but accepted food and care.
started training combat very early
