Once upon a time, Thulite and Variscite were traveling merchants without any affiliation to a particular clan. They were valuable catalysts for trade on the southern icefield and made connections with dozens of clans across the domain.
When the sanctuary was founded, Thulite and Variscite saw their chance to be a part of something great and joined, offering to use their connections to foster alliances with clans all over the icefield. They started out by spreading word of the sanctuary, but over time their roles evolved into those of diplomats and they officially became representatives of Amethyst and the clan.
As peculiar as it seems, their primary function is having dinner with the leaders of other clans.
Thulite is the older one of the two and significantly more cunning. She knows exactly how to present herself and her every action is carefully planned, however not many dragons realize this. At heart, she's still a merchant, and she knows how to market herself and the sanctuary.
She's highly extroverted and a bit eccentric at times. She's been known to be rather generous. She secretly houses a bit of arrogance and believes she could play anybody like a violin.
