______ Cascade had grown up mostly beside his sister Paige. He would tease her and annoy her like any sibling would. They were very close. She loved his company because he was so free. He never cared for the stress life would give him, he would normally shrug and just accept easily that things happened. This easy going Fae would mostly spend his days vegging out with Paige, the who stayed at their parents side for as long as they could, having no motivation to go out into the world, why bother when mother and father would supply the meals? they loved to challenge each other by seeing who could fly the highest. However one day the two came across a Arctic Hippalectryon, this horse sized creature started chasing Paige. Fae are very small and fragile, especially when they are young. So she was unable to fly high enough to get away. Cascade, with all his might and will chased after the chicken horse screeching as it. The creature then turned around only so find a tiny little dragon an eighth of its own size. Cascade was determined to give this larger creature a piece of its mind. However the great Arctic monster calmed down. That was the day Cascade had found a likely familiar. Cascade simply shrugged and accepted the beast as its companion.
