It was so sudden, like being thrown into a fiery pit. Kiriki had already taken in a whole gulp of the vile mix before she could pull herself out. Her scales were already flaking off in large groups, leaving bleeding holes on her flesh in their wake. The pain was unbearable, she barely made it back to her clan, where they administered immediate care to the suffering hatchling. "Am I going to die?" She asked, over and over again. Her questioning was met with silence. As she awoke, she noticed the pain was gone, but something wasn't quite right... She looked at her limp body. No scales were anywhere to be found on her, the toxic soup had not only given her a close brush with death, but had taken away one of the few things her clan had hopes for. Her appearance. She lied down on the solid floor of the underground lair, staring at her pulsating muscles in horror. Kiriki curled up into a pained ball on the floor, whimpering. Her old clan's members, who thought she was dead for sure, cautiously peeked into the small den they had carved out for her- to be met by the horrific dragon moaning on the ground. They had no clue what to do, and they surely were not going to touch her at all costs. Another survivor of the Wyrmround came to the clan to give advice for handling Kiriki, to which the menders of her previous clan took thankfully. At that point, they had decided that they wouldn't be able to take care of the poor Guardian, so they took her to the Auction House. Kiriki has a deep hatred for the Plaguebringer, even while her brand marks her eyes, she denies any ties with the deity, saying that, if she could, she would "Slam the wench in her own filth and see how she likes becoming the next monstrosity to terrorize the village." |
