Perched in a lonely observatory, surrounded by smudged and claw-torn maps of the sky, Alliance tracks the passing stars each night, subsisting on hastily caught Fallout Whispers which are drawn magnetically to the crackling magic of his tower.

Born years past in the fractured Frigid Floes, Alliance never found a home under the guardianship of the Icewarden. He passed from living memory when he migrated to the Fortress of Ends. Caught beyond time, he slept in icy dormancy until a spark of stray magic from the Arcanist's realm caught the frozen tower he was trapped within. The vivid touch of violet light awoke him, and his true purpose, and he broke out of his prison and flew to the Starfall Isles.

At home in the Drifting Enclave, where the lost congregate, Alliance takes charge of training the young magelets, raising them up to find their own paths.
