\ˈrō\ Bio in the works. Born in Shadow. (Purchased for 300 gems- possibly the best decision ever!) A rogue band of Serthis had been stealing eggs from clans in the Ruins and absconding to the safety of the Tangled Wood. This went on for years and what they did with the stolen eggs remains a mystery. Search parties went after them, of course, but the Wood is not kind to those who were not born to it. Despite the repeated failures to catch the thieves, when yet another small clan was raided, the dragons tore after the interlopers with all haste. These dragons were a clan of trackers; even with the gentle rain and the dark of night, they would find their way. The Serthis did not cover their trail well enough to avoid detection, probably counting on the rain to wash away evidence of their passing. The snakes were caught not far into the Wood. The eggs were safely recovered and the Serthis met a bloody end- no other clan would suffer the loss of their eggs. The eggs had been stashed in the exposed roots of a massive tree. Four had been stolen, but five had been recovered. Odd, the dragons thought, but it must have been from another heist. They would bring the abnormally pearlescent egg with them and if they could not find the rightful parents, at least the hatchling would not be born into darkness. Rain still fell, but the dragons were joyful on the trip back to the Ruins. They met no resistance, and as they crossed the border shortly after dawn, they were met with the warm rays of the sun, shining through the clouds. As the sun fell upon the fifth egg, it cracked. A Pearlcatcher emerged, glowing softly and looking around with wide eyes. They were pale yellow and flecked with the deepest violet. 
Description Details
Relationships Sunshower Lore It’s well-known that the weather is nearly always sunny in the Lightweaver’s domain. Even when it rains, the sun sometimes still manages to shine through the clouds. Dragons born during these sunshowers are brilliantly patterned with blues and yellows. These lambent dragons have an affinity for water and are typically excellent swimmers. Many Sunshowers make careers out of diving or fishing, and most prefer to live close to a major source of water. Some collect shells or sea glass and they also tend to prefer aquatic familiars. Sunshowers follow the diets of their respective breeds, but lean toward aquatic themed foods. For example, a Tundra Sunshower would prefer aquatic plants and a Fae Sunshower would prefer insects that live in or near water. |
