Biography
Each day that Aion lives is one more that he never expected to have.
It has been difficult, adjusting to a new life and a new clan after being left for dead, and it has turned him quiet and pensive. He often withdraws so deep into his own thoughts that he doesn't take notice of his surroundings. He often finds himself wandering the lair without quite knowing how he got there, and it's given him a reputation for being absentminded that he has never taken pains to correct.
While Aion does not hold a job within the clan, he is often found in the archives with Hirini. He enjoys ruffling her feathers and finding new ways to make her roll her eyes. Her constant motion serves as an anchor to keep his thoughts from drifting too far, and as much as she never has time for others, he notices that she always makes time for him.
When he's not with Hirini, he likes watching over the hatchlings. They're easier to get along with than the other adults in the clan and thanks to Ryu, there are always some to look after.

I may tell Hirini if I can ever recall the face, or faces, of those who betrayed me. But I fear that it would only disrupt the peace our clan has found, and I would not wish that upon my clanmates. I suppose I could say I'm content where I am in a clan that cares for my wellbeing, I'd hate to spoil it. I do not think I should forget about what happened to me, nor keep it a secret from those who care about me. In time, I may give Hirini more details about my past, but there's no rush to stir up trouble. |
