Kutiel, a slender and sneaky Spiral, was born to Zenot and Angelena of Wind Flight. When he was born, it was clear that he was the troublemaker of the family; always getting into messes that would give his parents heart attacks. He was always the one to wander off and his love for playing pranks on other Dragons were clear from the first few months of his life. As he grew, he felt out of place when it came to Wind Flight. He wasn’t one to ride the warm breezes and hated going higher than the trees. He grew up the odd one and didn’t have many friends. He would’ve rather spent his time playing pranks and making others laugh than to practice his flight. He fell behind in his flying skill, but that didn’t bother him as much as the fact that his parents weren’t sure what to do with him. When he grew to be old enough to leave, he decided that Wind Flight wasn’t the flight that he wished to be in. He told his parents farewell and set out on his journey to find a home where he belonged. His journey led him on many great adventures and he encountered interesting Dragons along the way, but a clan never stuck out to him until he found Shadow Flight. Within the Shadow Flight, he found a clan that was different than all the other clans. This clan, called themselves a Coven. This intrigued him and as he worked his way within the coven, he was astounded by the many gifts that there were around him. Each Dragon had talents that were astounding and extremely helpful. The longer he stayed with the coven, the more he wondered what talents he could possess. When posed with this question, he would often times respond with, “I am good at tricking Dragons!” The other Dragons would shake their head and tell him that was not a talent. That was something he enjoyed doing. He would hang his head and sigh, wondering whether or not he should leave. One day, the High Priest appeared before him, and handed him two rods. Grasping the rods, Kutiel looked at the Dragon and as he was just about to ask what the rods for, they quivered and turned towards him. |
Kutiel gasped, and looked at the High Priest, “These are Dowsing Rods.” The elder Dragon explained, “They point to what you seek the most.” Kutiel blinked and thought about another question. The rods quivered and turned towards a small stream that flowed through the Coven’s territory. He quickly made his way to the water and looked down at his reflection. The water quivered and within the water, he saw himself, only older and bigger. “What is this?” He asked, the rods quivered some more, but they didn’t move direction. Whatever his purpose was, it was with the water. He turned to ask the High Priest, but he was gone. |
As Kutiel grew and learned within the Coven, he grew proficient with the Dowsing Rods. He was able to answer other Dragons’ questions by interpreting how the rods move. He was a powerful diviner. In his time, he started to use the water to scry for answers and others would start to call him the “Angel of Water” for his gifts. He enjoyed this, and learned to accept the offerings he was receiving. In his downtime, he had made a wonderful friend, Gabriel. The two of them shared their love for tricking other dragons and would be found doing just that. They were inseparable, so it was understandable that it was hard for Kutiel when Gabriel had to take a few months to grow his own strengths. In those few months, Kutiel took it upon himself to master his own gift. To this day, Kutiel has been stronger and quicker with his readings and has helped many Dragon’s on their path. He had found a Flight that fits his needs, and friends that he could never live without. He is a proud Dragon with great morals and a wonderful sense of humor. Kutiel, the Angel of Water, and mastermind to many tricks. He has become a powerful asset to the Coven of Shadow Flight. |
