______ Tori and her mate Kitsune arrived in Bluebird's Roost on a cold autumn evening. Merchants who had lost their way in an early winter storm, they shared what remained of their wares with the clan in return for shelter. Although Kitsune initially wished to travel onward, Tori's heart was moved by the kindness she found within the small clan, and so they lingered, and eventually decided to stay.

After training as a witch under Yuki, Tori briefly aided in the defense of the clan against the beasts. During this time she worked with some of the clan's greater warriors, including Typhoon and Cirrus. She has a peaceful heart, though, and she retired quickly, and moved on to be a healer and beast-speaker. Eventually she took on two apprentices of her own, Haru, and then later on, Isceroth. As one of the older witches of the clan, Tori often finds herself playing arbitrator to the younger witches.

Tori's powers as a beast-speaker allow her to travel safely through the lands around Bluebird's Roost. She uses these powers to arbitrate between the beasts and the clan, when possible, but more often to travel safely and gather plants and herbs which other dragons use for food and medicine.
