Keith was always a hot-head. It was difficult for him to sit back and let others take control of situations when he knew there were better ways to do it. It was a combination of his temper and his lack of respect to his ‘superiors’ which ultimately got him kicked out of his first clan and the Garrison in which he was training in.

It wasn’t long after that that Keith found a small shack to call home and settled down. He would have been perfectly fine there, if it wasn’t for his adventurous spirit. He was constantly exploring the other regions around his small makeshift home. As time went on, the range of his exploration grew, until he began to enter territory within The Scarred Wasteland. It was exciting, and Keith found many-an-opportunity to pit his skills against foes.

As Keith continued to explore, he managed to find himself in the territory of a dangerous group of assassins. They found him one day while he was wandering through their territory, and brought him back to their clan. At first, Keith had considered resisting, but he knew when it was smarter to simply lie low, and this situation seemed to call for that.

Luckily for him, the clan seemed interested in seeing his abilities. He was more than happy to show off his combat training and ferocity to them. They must have been impressed, or at least seen some potential in him, because they decided to let him live and stay in their clan with them. Keith accepted, understanding that it was likely the only option he had.

He’s slowly getting used to all the weird things in his new life. It’s taken a bit for the fact that he’s living aside assassins to sink in, but as long as they aren’t coming after him, he supposes he’s okay with it. There’s not much he can do, anyway.

Just a little bit after he came to the clan, a few others with similar abilities and from the same clan he was originally cast out of showed up as well. He got along well with most of the others, but with Lance there was a certain sense of competitiveness between the two of them. Keith looks up to Shiro and his fighting abilities greatly. Sometimes he wishes that the others could be more serious about things, but he secretly finds it rather endearing. Hunk is always easy to get along with, and Keith appreciates how he can help ground the team when they’re getting in over their heads. And as always, Pidge is there to help them all with the more technical aspects of their fighting, and anything they come across that needs a more intelligent inspection.
