Velvet
"Just let me handle things, Ruby..." Growing up in the plaguelands can have quite the impact on a young dragon's views of the world and how it turns. In Velvet's case it truly was 'survival of the fittest' that became the sole mantra this dragon preached. Being on her own since childhood, she became a seasoned assassin with devastating stealth skills. A dragon whose name is spoken by in fear by even the thoughest of dragons. Terrified that she might one day pay them a visit... She grew into a fine example of what not to be in terms of a mother as well as a mate. Her somewhat masculine side and her love for blood don't add up to her maternal image. In fact, the only one for whom she ever felt empathy and compassion, is her sister Ruby. Ruby alone can talk some sense into Velvet. Her rule of 'kill or be killed' has lead to many a gruesome fates in concerns to her mates and subsequent offspring. Even her own offspring say her name in fear, while her mate Agiel still tries to unthaw her heart. One day they came across Tali's lair, and Velvet knew that this would be the perfect place for her kindhearted sister to reside. So they decided to settle down there, although Velvet mostly uses this as an opportunity to leave her sister in safety, while she goes out on assassinating others. At current, she is out fulfilling many mercenary missions for the better of this world. While she might not appear softhearted, she does have a dying wish to turn this world into a better place, for the sake of her sister. After all, apart from her sister, she's got nothing left to lose. While she only really cares for her sister, she did somehow became Agiel's mate. The dragon likes her so much, and she realized she could use some offspring who'd help her better the world. Unfortunately, her children are terrified of her, and few withstood her harsh assassin training for more than a few days, before running off. She's named after the material velvet. Which often comes in a bloodlike color. The material is described as to be smooth, yet to give off a distinct and cold feel.
