Daughter of a Blacksmith and a Spiritcaller, she often questions her purpose in her clan. Knowing she’ll someday be their leader, it’s a great burden on her shoulders to watch her parents do nothing to manage their clan, and often questions whether her clan is really a clan at all. They are disorganized, unruly, and aimless - and no one seems to mind.

It became apparent as a child that she possessed the magic her father carries - the ability to commune to spirits through song. While it’s standard for others with this gift to speak to them through voice, Serenada cannot sing very well, which made it virtually impossible. Surprisingly, she managed to channel her magic through her violin, and instead uses this form of music to speak to spirits. Despite not using words, she seems to convey messages perfectly fine without them.

Unbeknownst to her, this magic was the origin of her clan. They had been strong, noble, and resolute in their Earth roots, preserving the past through communing with ancestral spirits. But through the years, abuse of this power in the form of necromancy caused them to wage war and fall apart. No one speaks of this, and it leaves Serenada in the dark, unsure why she is able to use this magic, and unsure why the clan seems uninterested.

Secrets may yet reveal themselves upon the notes of her violin and the distant whisper of her ancestors. Nothing is ever truly forgotten.
