BIOGRAPHY AND DRAGON DETAILS

Glimmer's life begins with quite a grim start. She had hatched only one day ago and was sitting in her, playing with her sister Sparkle and guarded by her parents Razzle and Dazzle. Suddenly, a huge explosion of fire, light, and sound assaulted her senses and threw her, stunned, against the side of the nest. No one was ever quite sure if the explosion was caused by a firework gone astray, a lightning bolt from a storm, or an act of retribution from angry gods. But the aftermath and destruction were easy to decipher. Glimmer awoke to her father's tears and screams as he held the body of her mother in his arms. Off the side of the nest, she saw the limp body of her sister. She nudged Sparkle, play-bit her, and sat on her, but she did not awake.

The following days were long and slow. Her father sustained many internal injuries and mostly kept to himself in his grief. Gone was the carefree procurer of fireworks and entertainment for the clan. All that was left was a numb, weary husk of the dragon he once was. Glimmer was left alone to process all the chaos and loss that had occurred in her first days in Sornieth. Only time will tell whether she will recover and find a calling or fall into despair and anger like her father.
