Leia
the healer | ice advisor

icefull.png

This round-cheeked, plump tundra has an incredible amount of fluff even in her summer coat; she moves with a cheery bouyancy and smiles happily at friends, acquaintances, and perfect strangers (as well as interestingly-shaped clouds, butterflies, flowers, and shiny rocks). She speaks in a soft voice that nonetheless carries well; she would sound almost authoritative if her words didn't come out in a lilting sing-song. The spring in her step is accompanied by peculiar noises - the muted clatter of what sounds almost like bamboo windchimes, and the creak of ice.

In spite of her impressive quantity of poofy fur, she wears a great deal of white drapery and a profusion of decorative objects on her person. Closer examination of her more tunefully percussive ornaments reveals that they are made of intricately carved bone; the scrimshaw is a mix of runes, symbols, and geometric patterns.

The purpose of these somewhat macabre ornaments becomes much clearer when she's called on to heal a clanmate of something more complicated than a headache or mild fever; she hums her way through a diagnostic cantrip and the assortment clinks and hums, shivers and glows, empowering the tundra's healing spells. The few pieces that don't come alive when she's healing are cold to the touch or even encased in a scrim of ice, apparently containing enchantments to maintain a temperature more comfortable for a native of the Southern Icefield (which may also go some way towards explaining why her coat stays so determinedly fluffy even during a Sunbeam summer).

She smells very strongly of mint, and usually has several sprigs on her person either as a tasty snack or to give to her patients as a reward for good behavior.
