Despite being a dragon originally from the light flight, Thorn fell deeply in love with the terrain in his new clan. He has devoted himself to the Gladekeeper and felt nothing short of honored when his first nest mate and son were sent to serve her directly.

Thorn is a very capable fighter and prefers to scout alone. He is best when stalking prey or intruders ahead of time and catching them off guard.

For a time, Thorn was taken in by Those who Wander after falling victim to the mind games of one of their own--Jasper. He found himself as a part of the clan in the Starfall Isles with no recollectino of how he had gotten there. He didn't plan on staying long--he hadn't planned on staying at all--but the clan was kind to him, and he did not know his way back. During his stay there, he would keep vigil over clutches of eggs, waiting for the hatchling he had been told of in a dream.

It took some time, but eventually Thorn returned to the Sunlit Gardens with the help of his son, Valentine, who finally managed to track him down. He was missed in the clan, and is content to catch up with those he knew, as well as forge new connections with those who arrived during his absence.
