The clan's genealogist. Keeps track of the relationships between dragons in the lair and where their ancestors and offspring are. Because that's just her job and not because she's totally invested in sticking her nose into other people's business. No, siree.

As is her wont, Penny spent countless hours of the day doing research on her clanmates' backgrounds and lineage, tracking down surviving members of their families through documentation and interviews with former clanmates. Most recently, she managed to find Cilantro's eldest brother and convinced him to move to Zira's clan. She's been insufferably smug about it.

Penny also has the task of tracking deaths within the clan. From her notes:

Name Mestra Hatchday Oct 04, 2015 Deathday Oct 06, 2016 Length 27.65M Wingspan 14.33M Weight 5900.44KG Born with an unusually short wingspan, Mestra was unable to fly. On October 6th, 2016 she was lost to the clan when she wandered too close to the coast and got swept away by the Twisting Crescendo. Mestra was raised primarily by Zira, though the entire clan had a hand in bringing her up. She showed very little talent in magick, but had a good eye for architecture. She was beloved by all who knew her. She enjoyed collecting hematite so she could stack them into little towers. How she was able to pick up each individual stone and place them without making a mess is anyone's guess, considering her size. Still, Cilantro and Yellow always remembered to give her what they find when they return from the Mire. So long as she was happy and doesn't make a mess, the other clan members left Mestra and her rocks alone. After her passing, her hematite collection went to Dancer to be crafted into charms for each of the dragons who raised Mestra, as a symbol of remembrance.

Name Alondra Hatchday Sep 28, 2016 Deathday Nov 08, 2016 Length 3.27M Wingspan 4.33M Weight 476.2KG Daughter of Dust and Tang. Sister of Muriel. Meg's aunt. Leolin's aunt. Alondra worked alongside Amaranth in his garden, growing herbs and flowers to be used in medicines. Early on the morning of Nov 8th, she was found among the flora having overdosed on Corpsemaker's Ivy. As of now the motivation behind her apparent suicide is unknown, as no note has been found.
