Biography

Hellebore

The Necromancer, The Exorcist, The Soul Summoner
The Shade does many terrible things. It will even turn siblings against each other.

"If I fall short, if I break rank, It's a bloodsport, but I understand, I am all yours, I am unmanned, I'm on all fours, willingly damned" -Bloodsport

Born of a Reaper and a demonic saint, Hellebore was only days old when his elder brother Xanbear was consumed by the Shade and attacked them. When Xanbear regained some control and realized what he had done, he sacrificed himself to the mercy of the Windsinger, leaving Hellebore with nothing but scars to remember him by. After this, Hellebore decided to leave his home in search of a new one, a place where he could have purpose to distract from the past that haunts him. Taken in by the Maelstrum clan, his experiences led to a strong desire to assist lost souls to peace, and thus he became the official necromancer and exorcist of the clan. He was aided in this pursuit by his new clanmate Specktor, whose knowledge of spirits helped form the basis of Hellebore's skills. He also shows an extreme tolerance for the Shade, perhaps because of his early exposure to it. Hellebore is guided by his familiar Wolfsbane to wayward souls, and they subdue and expel the spirits together. They banish these souls by way of toxic herbs and poisoned waters that Hellebore can control. He is light of foot and nearly impossible to detect when not speaking; many believe he can turn himself invisible at will. His presence is frightening to many animals and beastclans, as most believe him much too similar to the damned souls that he hunts. He is very level-headed and logical, as well as strong in mind and defensive abilities. Social skills are difficult for him; it's much easier to work with the dead.
